Education, Sports, and Fitness

Find yourself at the forefront of exploring exciting new research and innovative methods in Washington State's teaching, sport, and fitness programs. We are the only major research university in the state to offer an undergraduate degree program in teacher preparation and the only university offering a major in sport management. Professors encourage critical thinking, share the latest research, and involve you in development of new teaching methods. With a degree in one of these disciplines, you can become a teacher, athletic trainer, sport manager, or coach—or continue your education in graduate school to become a counselor, school administrator, or other education professional.
