A world of art and entertainment right on campus
When you want a break from studies at Washington State University, there's plenty of high-quality entertainment year-round. For example...
Recent headliner performances in the Pullman community include the comedic humor of Whoopi Goldberg, the Broadway musical Cats, and the Diablo Ballet. Top acts appearing at the Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum this year include:
- The Lipizzaner Stallions
- Bye Bye Birdie
- Bill Cosby
- The Royal Circus of Moscow on Ice
- and more.
World-class voice, instrumental, and theatre acts, including the Seattle Symphony and the WSU Orchestra, come to Bryan Hall Auditorium.
For art on the Palouse, visit the WSU Museum of Art. The museum houses a variety of famous painting, sculpture, and photography exhibits by regional, national, and international artists like Jim Dine. One of the leading figures in contemporary art, Dine had a prominent sculpture exhibit at WSU last year.
For a fun-filled weekend, check out Up All Night, with free food, music, games, and late night activities like ultimate Frisbee. Or how about Latin dance lessons in the Compton Union Building (CUB), or working out at the amazingly well equipped Student Recreation Center? |
